We live in a free United States that allows parents to teach their children whatever kind of values are important to them. But we also live in a United States that is free to criticize those choices. This is one of those moments.

PJ Media found a mother and sociologist, Danielle Lindemann, who decided to take her daughter’s Disney princess book and add handwritten messages of her own to encourage feminism in her offspring. Disney princesses are often a target of the Left for influencing girly girls who are in love with men and not strong, independent women. Instead of demanding Disney to rewrite the book — that’s surprising — Lindemann took matters in her own hands. 

Of course, Lindemann was quite proud of her private moment with her daughter and published pictures of the additions online which received heaps of praise from fellow feminists. But we believe TruthRevolt readers will have the opposite reaction.

But we saved the best for last. This photo shows Aladdin and Jasmine on that famous magic carpet ride. The characters are both smiling in an embrace; Aladdin’s hands holding on to his princess so she won’t fall off — but not in The Land of Feminism where Lindemann is queen. She added a speech bubble to have Aladdin say, “Protect me, Jasmine!”

The text of the book reads, “Jasmine flies through the sky.” Lindemann adds, “She holds on to Aladdin because he is scared.”

Yeah, that’s it. He's scared. Aladdin would only be scared if he thought Jasmine was going to turn out to be a rabid feminist like Lindemann. Then, he would “accidentally” fall off the magic carpet, and plunge to sweet death in the hot Arabian desert below -- a far more merciful fate.
