A new ad by Mitch McConnell is patriotic, uplifting, the type of video that makes a Kentuckian proud to have him representing the state of North Carolina. Oops, Kentucky.

Toward the end of the video, a split-second clip of two college basketball players embracing in a victorious hug at the 2010 NCAA championship shows two Duke players: Jon Scheyer and Lance Thomas, not any Kentucky players. College basketball is sacred in Kentucky, where the Wildcats have won 8 NCAA tournaments since 1948, second only to UCLA's 11 wins since 1964.
