London Mayor Sadiq Khan continues to place more negative emphasis on President Donald Trump than he does the terrorists ravaging his own city, and indeed, country.
Trump has rightfully criticized Khan for his response in the wake of terrorism. Recall the London mayor said that terrorism is something Brits must just get used to as it is part and parcel of life in a big city.
During an interview with the U.K.'s Channel 4, Khan said that Brits should not "roll out the red carpet" for Trump as his policies "go against everything we stand for."
Fox News summarizes the exchange and provides teh clip above:
Khan also said that he thinks a planned state visit to the U.K. for Trump should be called off.
"I don't think we should roll out the red carpet to the president of the USA in the circumstances where his policies go against everything we stand for," Khan said.
"When you have a special relationship it's no different from when you have got a close mate," he continued. "You stand with them in times of adversity, but you call them out when they are wrong. And there are many things about which Donald Trump is wrong."
Meanwhile, however, Khan and too many other European leaders continue to advocate rolling out the red carpet of immigration for terrorists.
