Here's a tip for understanding the political rhetoric of liberals: when they say the words "tolerance" and "pro-woman," this might be what they have in mind. According to Perez Hilton, Nikki Ogunnaike, Fashion Editor for Elle magazine, was recently at the Phillip Plein show in Manhattan when she noticed that other fashion editors were shunning Tiffany Trump. She gleefully tweeted, "1 hour late start, editors fleeing just so they don't have to sit behind Tiffany Trump."
Several other attendees also shared photos of the daughter of President Donald Trump and Marla Maples sitting amongst empty seats.
This over-the-top intolerance from the tolerant, pro-woman crowd was so ghastly that the ladies on The View actually came to Tiffany's defense. Yes, really.
"You know what, Tiffany, I'm supposed to go to a couple more shows. I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm coming to sit with you. Because nobody's talking politics," Whoopi Goldberg said. "You're looking at fashion! She doesn't want to talk about her dad! She's looking at the fashion! And for Elle magazine, a magazine that says it's a woman's magazine, to do this!"
Tiffany heard about this kind offer and accepted it, via Twitter: "Thank you @WhoopiGoldberg I'd love to sit with you too!"
Don't get too carried away, though. Whoopi still can't stand Tiffany's dad and was quick to point out that boycotting Ivanka's fashion line is still perfectly reasonable.
However, let's hear it for at least one liberal finally mustering up a shred of human courtesy for a member of the Trump family.
