While the mainstream media is making it out to seem like the Democratic National Convention is going off without a hitch, reality reveals otherwise.
Convention protests Tuesday in Philadelphia turned particularly volatile as hundreds of left-wing activists joined forces and took to the streets in rampage. Every fringe group from Black Lives Matter members to radical Bernie Sanders supporters to pro-Palestinian activists converged. What ensued was complete mayhem.
Protesters brawled, muscled reporters, stood-off with police, burned Israeli flags and called for an Intifada, and some even managed to scale that "no scale" fence Democrats erected to keep these same ruffians out of their convention zone.

Politico reports that Black Lives Matter protesters joined with pro-Palestinian activists and Bernie Sanders supporters. "The expanded group drew onlookers and resulted in a combustible dynamic that triggered at least one fist fight, though it was unclear who threw the punches," the outlet reports.
The scene also featured a string of tense standoffs between protesters and their critics, with law enforcement monitoring carefully and two television reporters from One America News facing harassment from protesters.
But the situation continued to be tense: At another point, around half-a-dozen police officers on motorcycles were overwhelmed by shouting protesters, though that situation stayed non-violent.
"Police are the 99 percent!" someone yelled.
"F*** the police," a man yelled repeatedly. "Intimidation."
As the protester got in the police officer's face and told him to "go to hell," the cop stared straight ahead and didn't engage.
"Get the f*** out of here!" another woman yelled at police officers repeatedly. "Get your sorry a** out of here."
According to an NBC affiliate, one police officer was hospitalized for head exhaustion. Meanwhile:
A man standing with his son on a median, wearing civilian clothes, said "Here come the Palestinians" as protesters engulfed them.
[...] The protesters marched to the security fence surrounding the convention site, where a night before, dozens had been arrested. On Tuesday night, protesters burned paper and the Israeli flag, and also appeared to rough up a reporter and photographer for One America news, demanding that they turn off their camera, grabbing them and seeking to block their shot.
We already know that inside the Democrats' convention hall nary an American flag was to be seen, but we did see several Palestinian flags waved brazenly by the delegates, some of whom also bore pro-Palestinian signs:
This is the Democratic Party -- left and "center" -- inside and out. Anyone with eyes to see knows what, and whom it stands for.
