How many times has the public at large been chided for "shaming" women for their looks? Obviously, that only applies to liberal women. Conservative women can be trashed for their looks at any time and the same crowd will remain silent.
Take Cher, for example. She's making fun of how Sarah Huckabee Sanders dresses, saying she looks like a "sister wife":

Sanders is a favorite target of the left due to her looks. Of course, when she doesn't look like "a sister wife," they have a problem with that, too. Remember this gem from Chelsea Handler?
"That harlot that they are dressing up and trolloping out every day? I mean, one day she has no makeup on at all, the next she's got like 6′ long eyelashes, cleavage, and summer whore lipstick all over her face. Can you believe what they've turned her into? A proper trollop."
Sanders just can't win. If she keeps it minimal, she's a sister wife. If she dresses up, she's a trollop.
Jimmy Kimmel is also getting in on the action with his grotesque "Kellyanne Conway" puppet, which looks like this.
How bad is this state of affairs? The voice of reason is none other than Lena Dunham, who has stood up for Conway in the past:

If you disagree with someone, commenting on her looks makes you seem petty. It makes you seem as though you have nothing substantive to say. It makes you look ridiculous, not her. The fact that almost no one is speaking up for the sexist treatment these conservative women are getting is telling.
