Officials at the State Department continue to lay blame to both sides of the conflicts between Israel and Palestine with the latest coming from the Secretary of State himself.
John Kerry said Tuesday, via Breitbart:
“What’s happening is that unless we get going, a two-state solution could conceivably be stolen from everybody,” in rallying for a “solution” that has been tried for decades without any progress. Then the Secretary of State seemingly excused Palestinian terrorists for their barbaric actions against Israeli Jews. “And there’s been a massive increase in settlements over the course of the last years. Now you have this violence because there’s a frustration that is growing, and a frustration among Israelis who don’t see any movement,” Kerry added.
As Breitbart notes in its report, Kerry wasn't able to tie "Jews building apartments" to the increase in innocent Jews being stabbed over the last week, nor could the DoS, as TruthRevolt covered, give blame toward whom it is due.
Just yesterday, State Department spokesman Mark Toner blamed the "cycle of violence" on both sides, urging Benjamin Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas to "decrease the tensions."
And today, multiple politicos have been posting a quote attributed to the State Department on Twitter in which someone explicitly accused both sides of "terrorism." Read those below:
