Vice President of Gaffes -- and the United States -- Joe Biden loosed his mouth on a senior student who at the Harvard Institute of Politics Thursday, introduced himself as the vice president of the student body. Biden quipped, "Ain't it a bitch?" referring to the "vice president thing."

As the shocked laughter and applause faded from those gathered who just heard their vice president denigrate the office to which he was elected, Biden over-assured everyone that it was all a joke:

I'm joking, I'm joking. I'm joking. Best decision I ever made. I'm joking. That was a joke. That was a joke.

The student fired back, "I hope you love your job." "I do actually," Biden said. "I love my guy I work with."
