Jindal: Trump Looks Like He Has A Squirrel on His Head

One presidential candidate is punching back at Donald Trump. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal unloaded on Trump yesterday, making some headlines for himself.

Over the past 24 hours, Bobby Jindal has made this a top priority. The Louisiana governor earlier had fired at the Republican frontrunner with this zinger: “We know that Mr. Trump has not read the Bible, and we know this for a simple reason: Donald Trump is not in the Bible. So we know he has not read it.”

Speaking to CBS News Thursday about Trump, Jindal said, "I think it's pretty outrageous for him to be attacking anybody’s appearance when he looks like he’s got a squirrel sitting on his head. I think he should stop attacking other people’s appearances."

The governor was referring to a Rolling Stone magazine story about Donald Trump that recounted an incident about Carly Fiorina in which Trump reportedly said, "Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?! I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not supposed to say bad things," he added, "but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?"

Other remarks about Trump yesterday by Jindal include:

"He's a nonserious carnival act," Jindal said in a speech at the National Press Club. "Here’s the truth about Trump that we all know, but have been afraid to say. Donald Trump is shallow. Has no understanding of policy. He’s full of bluster but has no substance. He lacks the intellectual curiosity to even learn."

"And that's why he is constantly telling us how big and how rich and how great he is, and how insignificant everyone else is. We’ve all met people like Trump, and we know that only a very weak and small person needs to constantly tell us how strong and powerful he is,” Jindal said.

Jindal spokesman explained the governor's comments on twitter: "Others have attacked him for conservative heresy. We're attacking him for being a clown," Henry Goodwin wrote.
