The Huffington Post posted an article Thursday about a Movoto map that shows the wealthiest person in each state. A casual look at the map would seem to indicate that the political affiliation of the individuals were overwhelmingly Republican, since the map uses varying shades of red to denote the degree of wealth the citizens have, while only turning blue in cases of tens of billions of dollars. An analysis by Truth Revolt reveals that nearly 20 percent of the people profiled on the map are actually Democratic donors.

While there are in fact many people listed on the map who are Republican donors, the following people are also the wealthiest residents in their states, and reliable Democratic donors:

Leon Gorman- Maine

John Abele- Vermont

Warren Buffet- Nebraska

Bill Gates- Washington

Ted Lerner- Maryland

Ane Cox Chambers- Georgia

Maloof brothers- New Mexico

Jim Justice- Kentucky

Charles Ergen- Colorado

Also- though he has sprinkled a few donations to local Republicans, Gary Tharaldson gave a $10,000 donation to Harry Reid in 2012.

All but Buffet and Gates' states on the map are shades of red.
