In a recent campaign stop, Hillary Clinton was asked by a young girl in the audience if she will be paid the same as a man if she becomes president. And Hillary and her supporters loved the resulting optics.

So much so, that she posted it to Twitter as the "Question of the Day." But it was her answer, like so many others before it, that illustrates her complete disconnect with relating to the average, everyday American.

Clinton told the little girl, "Well, this is one of the jobs where they have to pay you the same." Because being a Clinton means you haven't had to worry about a good paycheck for decades. So, really, this "job" isn't about the money anyway.

But not letting an opportunity pass without a little politcking, Clinton added:

But there are so many examples where that doesn't happen, where women doing the same job are not paid the same. So, as president, I'm going to do everything I can to make sure not just the president gets paid the same -- whether it's a woman or a man -- but every woman in every job gets paid the same as the man who are doing that job.

Of course, Hillary's former female staff while she was senator might ask where this woman was when they were on the payroll. They received only 72 cents for every dollar her male employees made. How's that for being a "champion for women"?
