Actor Alec Baldwin reprised his classic role as a homophobe Thursday, and gay and lesbian activists don’t know what to do about it. TMZ caught the actor displaying bigotry towards a photographer, calling him a "c***sucking f*g."

As TruthRevolt previously noted, Baldwin is a repeat offender:

This is hardly the first time Baldwin has used incendiary anti-gay language. When a British columnist reported that Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria, had tweeted at a funeral, Baldwin responded by calling the reporter a “toxic little queen” and stating, “If [sic] put my foot up your f***ing ass, George Stark, but I’m sure you’d dig it too much.” He added that the reporter was a “f***ing little bitch.” Earlier this year, a black photographer in New York accused Baldwin of calling him the n-word.

After calling the British reporter a “toxic little queen,” for example, he issued a statement to the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation stating, “My ill-advised attack on George Stark of the Daily Mail had absolutely nothing to do with issues of anyone’s sexual orientation. My anger was directed at Mr. Stark for blatantly lying and disseminating libelous information about my wife and her conduct at our friend’s funeral service.  As someone who fights against homophobia, I apologize.” GLAAD quickly accepted the apology. They shouldn’t have done so quite so quickly, it appears.

Accepting his apology may be harder this time around, said GLAAD National Director of News Ross Murray to TruthRevolt:

I don’t know what he’s thinking when he says what he says. I know he’s someone who has worked with us in the past. That’s why it gets hard when he comes back and does the same thing over and over again.  We will have to take some time and think about how to respond.

UPDATE: Rich Ferraro, vice president of communications for GLAAD, responded on behalf of the organization late Thursday:

Mr. Baldwin can’t lend his support for equality on paper, while degrading gay people in practice. It's clearly time he listens to the calls from so many LGBT people and allies to end this pattern of anti-gay slurs.
