Friday, TruthRevolt reached out to GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) for comment on A&E's decision to have the patriarch of the Robertson family, Phil Robertson, return to the popular reality show Duck Dynasty despite an outcry from GLAAD and other liberal groups for his firing.

Rich Ferraro, Vice President of Communications at GLAAD responded:

Phil Robertson should look African American and gay people in the eyes and hear about the hurtful impact of praising Jim Crow laws and comparing gay people to terrorists. If dialogue with Phil is not part of next steps then A&E has chosen profits over African American and gay people - especially its employees and viewers. 

Earlier Friday, A&E announced in a statement that they would be reinstating the popular hunter and founder of Duck Commander to their most watched television show. In their comments, A&E reiterated they did not agree with the comments Robertson made in a recent GQ interview but stated that they understand how loved and appreciated Phil Robertson is by their viewers.
