French Men Face $100 Fines for Complimenting Women

Coming soon to the USA.

France is set to impose more free speech restrictions on its citizens with a new proposal that would fine men who compliment a woman’s looks in public.

The law states that fines of at least $100 would be assessed on any man who “infringes the freedom of movement of women in public spaces and undermines self-esteem and the right to security.” It was put forward to address the “everyday sexism in France,” according to Daily Mail:

It had been suggested wolf-whistling would be punishable with on-the-spot fines, but the new report makes no reference to it.

However the planned measures want to give authorities the power to dish out penalties to those who follow women down the street, block their paths or make lout and lewd comments regarding their physique or the way they look.

The issue is heightened on public transport in major cities, with women opting to wear trousers instead of skirts for fear of being groped.

Fines will increase to hundreds more if the payments aren’t made on time.

It was France’s Secretary of State for Equality Marlene Schiappa who came up with this proposal. DM provided an interesting picture of her:

One might say she looks very attractive in that mini-dress and high-heels, but not if it costs a hundred bucks to do so.

Of course, any creep who touches a woman not his girlfriend/wife or uses threatening terms deserves to be punished in whatever way a local government sees fit. We all know Muslim "refugees" roam the streets of France and are known for shouting harassing comments and are serial gropers/rapists. But a law like this could turn an innocent man into a criminal who decided to tell a woman, “You look pretty today.”

Look for this to make its way to the U.S. at some point. It’s what feminists ultimately want. This is the result of the #MeToo movement: making men who compliment attractive women into criminals. Why do leftists hate freedom so much?
