Fox Suspends Contributors for On-Air Profanity

Telling it like it is.

Two regular Fox News contributors were suspended today for using profanity during their on-air commentary about President Obama, Talking Points Memo reports.

As TruthRevolt reported earlier today, Fox News analyst and retired Army officer Ralph Peters, a man not known for reserved opinions, referred to the President as "such a total pussy, it's stunning" on Fox Business this morning. Host Stuart Varney eventually had to insist that the fiery Peters apologize.

Not long afterward, Stacey Dash, a contributor on the Fox talk show Outnumbered, was also driven to saucy language by Obama's Sunday night address to the nation on terrorism. She said it seemed that the President "could give a shit" during his Oval Office speech.

Both contributors received a two-week suspension for the remarks. Bill Shine, Fox senior executive vice president of programming, released a statement which said,

Earlier today, FOX contributors Lt. Col. Ralph Peters and Stacey Dash made comments on different programs that were completely inappropriate and unacceptable for our air. FOX Business Network and FOX News Channel do not condone the use of such language, and have suspended both Peters and Dash for two weeks.
