Boxing world champion Floyd Mayweather took to social media to explain the reason for his split with now ex-fiancée Shantel Christine Jackson -- she had an abortion.

In a message posted to Instagram and Facebook, Mayweather included a photo of Jackson's ultrasound and said:

The real reason me and Shantel Christine Jackson broke up was because she got a [sic] abortion, and I'm totally against killing babies. She killed our twin babies.

The posts, deemed offensive by some, were removed from the social media sites. But here is a screenshot:
