College Humor paired SNL's Jay Pharoah with First Lady Michelle Obama in a new rap video that aims to encourage young people to attend college.

While Pharoah takes most of the duties, DJ FLOTUS (new rap name?) lends her budding rap "skillz" on a verse:

South side Chicago / we all know / we had to do overtime every night to make it tomorrow / And everyone could really make their dream true / Hey, kid listenin in Michigan / that could be you

The main message gleaned from the video is this: you should go to college if you want to "fly jets, reach high and cash checks, fight crime or be an astronaut." But if you want to watch paint dry or grass grow, don't bother.

Like Mrs. Obama, rap doesn't fit everyone's taste, unless you are the mainstream media's darling, then everything becomes a mic-drop moment. As Newsbusters pointed out, Today co-host Tamron Hall proclaimed on NBC after playing a clip, "That's incredible, right? Drop the mic… I say, she needs to host SNL."

“Now this morning the White House is getting a little white hot, thanks to the First Lady Michelle Obama," said Michael Strahan over at ABC's Good Morning America. After watching the clip he said, "Whoa. I'm on iTunes right after the show to get that one."

"I gotta say, she puts the flow in FLOTUS, you know what I mean?" he added.

There was a lot of spelling problems in the lyrics, but then again, a college degree isn't required for rapping. Of course, having a college degree doesn't make President Obama any more qualified to make foreign policy decisions that keep America and its allies safe. And the same goes for the degreed journalists who would rather talk about fluff like this than hold Obama to the flame in terms of taking care of ISIS and the threat of Islamic terror.
