Comedian John Oliver is not exactly a conservative. But in this clip from Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO in July 2014, he ruthlessly ridicules the incompetence of the current administration by honing in on a Senate appearance of Obama-appointed Charles Samuels Jr., director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Samuels is being questioned by Sen. Al Franken - also not exactly a conservative - who struggles to get a simple answer from Samuels about something as basic as the size of the average cell used for solitary confinement. The resulting awkward silence speaks volumes.
