Everyone hates it because Trump suggested it. But four short years ago, it was Sen. Chuck Schumer who wanted to honor the military with a ticker tape parade through New York City’s Canyon of Heroes, complete with military brass, color guards, bands, and flyovers. Though it never happened, no one whined about it like they are today.
