Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) appeared on CNN's State of the Union with Candy Crowley and said U.S. police and military officers are targets of terrorism, but assures that American government institutions will be protected.
Unfortunately, she wasn't prepared to give any definitive ideas on how she plans on protecting these government members and only said they should be "on guard:"
I think we need to think in some new ways. I don't particularly want to discuss it on television, but one thing's for sure, we are going to protect our institutions of government.
