Whatever one thinks of Donald Trump, his son Eric sat with a CNN panel after the vice presidential debate Tuesday night and masterfully parried every critical thrust from Hillary Clinton's media shills Wolf Blitzer, John King, and particularly a rude Dana Bash.
Eric Trump passionately and articulately took on the panel's attempts to smear his father on taxes, on vice presidential nominee Mike Pence's performance in the debate, and on the loss of international respect for American leadership under the Obama administration. The panel, especially an obsessive Dana Bash, insisted on ignoring Eric's attempts to highlight Hillary's failings and keep things focused on the least important issue facing America today: Donald's tax returns.
His forceful defense of his dad prompted Bash to admit, "Eric, I'm pretty impressed, actually." John King suggested that Eric teach a debate class.
