Democrats Were For SCOTUS Pick Neil Gorsuch Before They Were Against Him

Good then, bad now.

Democrats are scrambling for any way to hurt the confirmation of President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch. The media is attacking his mom and Nancy Pelosi is fear-mongerer number one, telling Jake Tapper on Tuesday night that “he’s not your guy” if you care about breathing clean air and stuff.

But before the top Democrat in the House was labeling Gorsuch as “well outside the mainstream of American legal thought,” her Senate friends were all for him back in 2006. In fact, forty-five Dems confirmed Gorsuch as a great pick to the U.S. Circuit Court.

Here are just some of those names:

Barack Obama (D-IL)
Hillary Clinton (D-NY)
Chuck Schumer (D-NY)
Joe Biden (D-DE)
John Kerry (D-MA)
Dianne Feinstein (D-CA)
Dick Durbin (D-IL)
Debbie Stabenow (D-MI)
Pat Leahy (D-VT)

If he is such a terrible person, why did the future president and vice president vote for him? He must not be all bad.

But according to Pelosi’s interview on CNN, Gorsuch “is hostile to children” and people who don’t like shopping at the Christian craft store, Hobby Lobby:

“Hill fellow, well met, lovely family — I’m sure. But as far as your family is concerned: If you breathe air, drink water, eat food, take medicine, or in any other way interact with the courts, this is a very bad decision.”
