Weeks after being listed on a Dartmouth College internet message board “rape guide” for a second time, a freshman says she was sexually assaulted at a fraternity party.  

The post appeared on what students call a “rape guide” on an anonymous message board that, while not officially affiliated with the college, is restricted to only those with Dartmouth email addresses. From The Huffington Post:

The post named the woman, noted she lives in the Choates residence complex, and explained how to make her want to perform oral sex. "If not have her do it anyways," the post said. Within weeks, there were more than three dozen references on the message board to "Choates Whore."

A few weeks after the posting—when she finally “started feeling safe”—the student went to a fraternity party, where she was reportedly assaulted:​

I went out last week and got assaulted at the first and only house I went to. Then I got told it happens all the time. I hope that maybe someone reading this will do something, because I have no one to turn to.

Dartmouth has removed the student responsible for the "rape guide," but the assaulted freshman expressed frustration that the college did not act earlier when a similar post about her appeared last fall.
