Concealed-Carry Permit Holder Stops Shooter Inside Texas Sports Bar

Thank you, again, Second Amendment.

On Wednesday inside a sports bar near Dallas, Texas, a gunman was taken down by a customer who was carrying his gun.

The 48-year-old unidentified male suspect walked into Arlington’s Caliente Sports Bar & Grill at around 6:15 p.m. and confronted a male employee, shooting him to death. A patron sitting at the other end of the bar told his wife to get down and pulled his gun and killed the perpetrator. When police arrived, the man told them he had a concealed-carry license.

At least 15 people were inside and witnessed the shooting. One woman was cut by broken glass, but no other harm was done.

Police believe the suspect knew the employee he killed and that he is not an employee, or former employee, of the restaurant.
