Today, CNN’s Don Lemon followed his rant on CNN Sunday over the weekend’s “Million Vet March on the Memorials” by tweeting,

Confederate flags, calling @barackobama a Muslim. Have these people no shame?

In the CNN debate yesterday, Lemon turned on conservative radio host Ben Ferguson and asked if he was “embarrassed” for his party. When Ferguson tried to explain that the group there was only a small group not even affiliated with conservatives or the Tea Party, Lemon interjected:

Who initiated this protest? It was tea party Republicans. Cut the crap.

Ferguson rejected Lemon’s premise and pointed out his flagrant labeling smear:

Cut the crap? I love how you assume that everybody that’s a conservative or tea partier was going to be out there today. If that was true, why wasn’t there a million tea party people out there? There wasn’t because this is not the vast majority of the tea party. So I’d say to you cut the crap and quit trying to label us with a blanket statement.
