On Monday, left-wing CNN commentator Ana Navarro -- known for her wacky statements -- made an incredibly incendiary comparison: in the view of the political strategist, James Comey and the FBI are like victims of the Holocaust. Trump, therefore, is of course Hitler.

Navarro posted to Twitter a paraphrased version of a famous quote by Martin Niemoller, a pastor during World War II. :

First, he came for Comey, & they didn't speak out b/c they were Trump apologists.

Then, he came for McCabe, & they didn't speak out b/c they were Trump apologists.

Next, he'll come for Rosenstein & they won't speak out b/c they're Trump apologists.

Last, he'll come for Mueller...

Wow. The original quote can be found at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Neimoller, a Lutheran, was jailed by the Nazis for his refusal to support Hitler. The famous quote castigating cowards in the face of evil goes as follows:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out —
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out — 
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out — 
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me.

Navarro -- who voted for Hillary Clinton -- was once a Republican pundit; she now enjoys a periodic seat on The View, where she waxes philosophic with the show's other lefties. She thrives at CNN, where she is deceitfully portrayed as a right-winger who (surprise!) hates Donald Trump. Surely, with her ridiculous left-wing-playbook comparison of Trump to a murderous, modern Adolf Hitler, her transition to the dark side is complete.
