CNN's Chris Cuomo this morning mocked the very idea that a person can be an advocate for, or even a supporter of, the Second Amendment. In a segment about gun violence following yesterday's "Gun Violence Awareness Day", the host suggested that Second Amendment advocates are really just gun nuts.

"People who call themselves second amendment advocates but, you know, really are just people who like guns," the host began, before implying that even those gross liars couldn't object honestly to a gun control measure.

Cuomo's guest agrees and wraps up by stating derisively that whether reducing gun deaths was something second amendment advocates care about was something he just doesn't know.

Per usual for the network, Cuomo, and the left media in general, the broader point was that people who believe in the same Amendment the Founding Fathers thought was important enough to be the second one are just crazy gun nuts who don't care if children die in school shootings. They just can't accept the idea of believing in the right to bear arms.
