In a report on the deadly Ebola outbreak, CNN misidentified one of the the countries stricken with the disease that has been plaguing West Africa since May.
In a map shown on screen during a report on the spreading of the Ebola disease, CNN mistakenly identified the country of Niger as Nigeria. Nigeria, with a population of over 170 million, is a country along the West African coast. Niger, which borders Nigeria to the north, is a landlocked country with approximately 1/10th of Nigeria's population.
