Donald Trump has confirmed his vice-presidential pick to be Indiana Governor Mike Pence but Democrat Hillary Clinton is still searching and reports seem to indicate she is looking to the left for a running mate. According to the Washington Post, Clinton met with far left Senator Elizabeth Warren:

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) was spotted being dropped off at Clinton's home and remained there for about an hour, according to CNN and NBC News. A person familiar with that meeting confirmed that Warren did meet with Clinton.

The same networks reported that Clinton also met at her home with Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, whose name has been less prominent on Clinton's list of potential running mates. Clinton also met with Hickenlooper while campaigning in Denver late last month, and he later told reporters that the vice presidential search "briefly" came up.

Also on Clinton's short list according to the Post is Obama's Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro. Sources told the Post that Castro also met with Clinton behind closed doors on Friday. Clinton is also said to considering Timothy Kaine of Virginia but most of the speculation remains on Warren.

Last month Clinton and Warren appeared together at a campaign stop in Ohio that had all the hallmarks of a trial run for Warren as Clinton's running mate.
