Casting Call for New John Legend Video: Fat Trump Supporters, Nazi Haircuts

Wonder what he’s up to?

A casting call for an upcoming music video for pop artist John Legend sought fat Donald Trump supporters and younger white guys with Nazi-style haircuts, TMZ learned.

A screenshot of Casting Networks in Los Angeles asked for several different kinds of protesters, including “white male protesters, preferably young and blonde” and with “very short hair or short on sides, long on top.” Next up were older white men and women, aged 35-65, to play Trump supporters. The preference here was “out of shape.”

The other two categories included Black Lives Matter protesters but the African-America 18- to 35-year-olds didn’t have to be out of shape. Also, the music video called for “kissing couples” to kiss in front of the protesters to “show love amongst chaos.” Specifically, the video desires to show a lesbian couple kissing “to show that there is no segregation in love.”

This story has been widely shared and news has traveled back to Legend, who denies the casting call came from his team. He took to Twitter to defend himself:

But Legend would never pass up the opportunity to slam Trump or his supporters, as he and his supermodel wife, Chrissy Teigen, so often do:

Perhaps he didn’t make this casting call, but it sure sounds like he wished he had.
