Recently, riots broke out when political provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos attempted to speak at the University of California at Berkeley. People calling themselves anti-fa ("anti fascists") wore masks and smashed windows, threw rocks at law enforcement, committed arson, and engaged in violence.  

The response from the government officials there in Berkeley was lackluster. In response, Donald Trump tweeted:

Maybe we now know why their response was so impotent. Breitbart is reporting, "Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguin is a member of the anti-fascist Facebook group, By Any Means Necessary (BAMN), which orchestrated the riots that occurred ahead of a scheduled lecture by Milo Yiannopoulos." They also revealed that Arreguin is friends with Yvette Felarca, a BAMN leader, on Facebook.  

Breitbart explains why this is a big deal:

BAMN was investigated for engaging in terrorist activities in 2005 by the FBI. In 2009, the Department of Defense classified the group’s activities as “low-level terrorism.” In June 2016, BAMN led a violent counter-protest outside a white nationalist rally that resulted in ten people being hospitalized with stab wounds.

Isn't it a shame, albeit unsurprising, that the leaders of Berkeley, California are so chummy with this criminal and her domestic terror organization?
