Leftist actor Alec Baldwin will be playing Donald Trump in the Oct. 1 season premiere of Saturday Night Live, according to NBC News.

Alec Baldwin has been a major presence on SNL since 1990, guest-hosting a record-breaking 16 times. As NBC notes, he will be playing Trump in what will likely be a parody of the nominees' recent presidential debate, as shown in a new promo that NBC released on Wednesday. In it, Baldwin and cast member Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton can be seen getting into character, with Baldwin donning bushy eyebrows and a wig like Trump's signature hair. At the end of the promo, Baldwin purses his lips in his best Trump face. The promo is titled, "The night we've all been waiting for."

In all fairness to SNL, McKinnon has impersonated Hillary on numerous occasions on SNL, and not in a flattering way, either. It helped land win an Emmy earlier this month.

Among Baldwin's other celebrity impressions for the show has been Gov. Rick Perry. He also played Republican, hyper-capitalist TV network chief Jack Donaghy for seven seasons on the 30 Rock TV series.
