Actress Susan Sarandon may believe in ridiculous and downright destructive political philosophies, but no one can deny she has earned the label "philosophically consistent" based on her behavior this election season.

Shortly after endorsing Jill Stein for President, Sarandon gave an interview with CNN in which she called the Democratic National Committee "crazy" and "completely corrupt" for rigging the primary system against Bernie Sanders. 

"After my experience in the primary, it’s very clear to me the DNC is gone," Sarandon said. "It’s completely corrupt and every superdelegate is a lobbyist. The way that the system is set up in terms of trying of having superdelegates — you could win a state and not get the delegates. It’s crazy."

Sarandon felt that Sanders made people feel included and hopeful, something that Hillary has not managed. While not voting for Hillary, Sarandon did concede people should vote "down the ticket."

On the issue of Bernie now openly supporting Hillary's bid for President, an obvious sellout, Sarandon said of it: "Look, Bernie has said ‘Don’t ever listen to me if I tell you how to vote.'"

"I think we’ve been voting the lesser of two evils for too long. The good news is everybody’s so frustrated that at least we’re awake."
