Al Sharpton Says Trump Proposes ‘Most Racist, Bigoted Policies’

Sharpton gives play-by-play of Trump juking right, no, left, no, right!

Al Sharpton and Donald Trump used to be good buddies, but that friendship came to an end when Trump became the Republican president. Now, Sharpton has ill feelings toward his old pal.

In a short segment on Tuesday’s The Beat on MSNBC, Sharpton responded to Donald Trump Jr., who recently defended his dad against the constant cries of racism by reminding Americans that Trump has many “African-American friends, from Jesse Jackson [to] Al Sharpton,” rappers, moguls, etc.

Sharpton recalled meeting Trump for the first time while marching against him in Central Park.

“Later, he tried to turn Democrat and came to a few of our conventions,” said Sharpton. “Then he went all the way back right with Birtherism.”

Sharpton added that he isn’t the one that’s changed, it’s Trump. He’s the one that’s gone all the way right — or is it left? We don’t know, nor does Sharpton. All he knows is that Trump is a big, bad racist:

“We haven’t changed. He changed. And what he’s changed to become is one who has proposed some of the most racist, bigoted policies. When he was talking right, we took pictures with him and welcomed to him to our events. When he went left, we stood up for what was right. He is he promoting racism.”
