A presenter/producer at Al Jazeera pondered whether people celebrating the triple homicide of three Muslims in Chapel Hill, North Carolina were motivated by the hit movie American Sniper. Dena Takruri, a presenter/producer at Al Jazeera explained in a tweet that she thought about the film after the Chapel Hill shooting:
