Firing "an unprecedented number of rounds," armed police shot and killed three jihadi terrorists in Central London Saturday, but not until the latter had killed 7 innocents and injured as many as 50 more during yet another horrifying attack in the city whose Muslim mayor has infamously said that terrorism is "part and parcel" of living in a big city.
The murderers first drove a white van into a crowd at 50 mph, mowing down at least twenty people. Then they jumped out with knives, yelling "This is for Allah," and proceeded to attack anyone in the vicinity. The Daily Mail has the details:
Attackers stabbed a police officer on the bridge and then attacked revellers with 12-inch hunting knives at busy bars and restaurants in the nearby Borough Market, in what authorities described as terrorist incidents. One man was reportedly stabbed five times in the chest.
Witnesses said the gang, who had metal canisters strapped to their chests, smashed pub windows and reportedly cut the throats of drinkers, while a 'dark-skinned' man in a red tracksuit 'calmly' stabbed a man three times.
The male suspects were shot and killed by armed police in Borough Market within eight minutes of the first call. The attackers were wearing suicide vests, which turned out to be a 'hoaxes', police said.
Armed police rushed to the scene where shots were heard and authorities urged panicked Londoners on Twitter to 'run, hide, tell' if they were caught in the 'utter chaos'.
A woman who was at the scene said that she saw people with slit throats at London Bridge.
Immediately, Hollywood celebrities began denouncing the terror, but in a way that predictably ignored the reality of the events.
But many Americans were not having this:
In fact, many on social media were preparing for the upcoming onslaught of social media signaling, worthless memes, and symbolic gestures that will do nothing to fix the problem.

Police made twelve related arrests in the wake of the attack, which is a lot of lone wolves -- a veritable pack of them.
It's way past time to come to terms with the radical Islam that is trying to kill us. A writer at National Review summed it up by saying we need to "wake up to the reality of jihad and its pervasiveness within certain Muslim communities. You are not loving your neighbor if you believe lies, and your belief of lies makes you and your nation more vulnerable to evil."
He also wrote that "a nation that refuses to adequately protect its citizens does not love its citizens. Britain is a great nation, and there was a time when its greatness manifested itself in decisive and courageous force against the most terrible foes. There is much courage in Britain still. Will its government care enough about its citizens to unleash that courage against its mortal enemies?"
