WATCH: MSNBC Declares 'Obamacare Is Working' Again And Again And Again

It's clinical at America's most left-wing network.

While Democrats continue to try to convince themselves that Obamacare won't matter as much as they fear it will in the midterm elections, approval numbers for the unpopular law remain in the gutter. But you can’t blame its unpopularity on MSNBC. Since the healthcare law’s launch a year ago, America’s most strident Obama apologist network has assured and reassured the American people that “OBAMACARE IS WORKING," and it's still pushing the line.

As WFB notes, MSNBC’s arguments have included all the usual Democrat talking points: More people have insurance now because of Obamacare. That Americans now are being forced to by law is beside the point in MSNBC's logic... Another of the network’s favorites: healthcare inflation has slowed. In the mind of MSNBC, the struggling economy, rising Medicare enrollment, and the increase in high-deductible insurance policies were non-factors in the slight curbing of rising costs. It was all Obamacare. And the promise that the law would actually reduce costs, that’s long forgotten at Sharpton’s and Schultz’s network. As for all the president’s unilaterally enacted exemptions and amendments to the law, they are certainly not obvious signs of its lack of success to MSNBC—that embarrassing number of alterations is just what true effective for-the-people governing looks like.

Despite MSNBC’s steadfast efforts, national opinion of the healthcare law remains abysmal, while polls also continue to show that the issue is extremely important leading up to the midterm elections. A recent Kaiser Family Foundation poll found only 37% of Americans approve of Obamacare—it’s lowest rating to that point—while an AP/GfK poll found that only 31% of Americans approve of how Obama is handling healthcare.
