On State of the Union Sunday, CNN's Jake Tapper attempted to imitate famed children's author Dr. Seuss in an animated short featuring Donald Trump for the segment "State of the Cartoon-ion."
Because a new Seuss book hit the market last week, Tapper felt compelled to offer his own take using Trump's meteoric rise to the national spotlight amongst the other Republican presidential candidates as the subject.
The cartoon hits on Trump's ability to relieve the "boredom" of journalists having to cover another Bush/Clinton race, it criticized his clothing for being made in China, and addressed his views on illegal immigration.
And all of this from a "respectable" news channel. This is CNN!
