Violent United Airlines Incident Trump’s Fault, Says ‘Star Trek’ Actor

Sure it was.

Actor John Cho, who plays Sulu in the new Star Trek films, weighed in on the United Airlines incident that went viral in which a passenger was violently ejected from a flight because he didn’t volunteer to give up his seat. And guess what? It was Trump’s fault.

Here is what Cho, whose Twitter profile states “American immigrant,” tweeted on Monday:

Is he talking about the violence perpetrated by Democrats since Donald Trump’s election? The rioting, the smashed windows, the setting things on fire, and all the various threats? Or is Cho talking about the fake hate crimes that were dreamed up by leftists and blamed on Trump supporters?

Perhaps Cho is upset that the passenger, David Dao, is Asian and feels he was targeted because of his race. That is not the case as the video clearly shows. Dao, 69, was on an overbooked flight from Chicago’s O’Hare to Louisville when United realized it had to get some crew members on board to get them to their next assignment. But not enough passengers took the bribes to take another flight. So, United instituted a “lottery” to pick four lucky passengers to force off the plane and Dao was one of them. He didn’t want to deplane because he is a doctor and needed to get to his patients. According to United, Dao became “disruptive and belligerent” and the Chicago Aviation Police were called in for the forced extraction. The entire incident caused a delay of three hours. This had nothing to do with race.

Nice try, Cho. Thankfully, you were called out for your illogic:
