Taliban Bomber Kills Six American Soldiers in Afghanistan

One of the deadliest attacks this year.

The New York Times is reporting that a Taliban suicide bomber killed six American soldiers in Afghanistan after ramming his motorcycle into a military convoy in one of the deadliest attacks against Americans in the region this year.

The Taliban sent a message out on Twitter claiming responsibility for the attack.

The terrorist was targeting the convoy carrying U.S., NATO and Afghan troops outside the Bagram Airfield in northern Kabul. Two other Americans were injured in the attack.

Prior to this incident, one NATO service member was killed in an attack in September and two Americans died in August during an ambush at a checkpoint, reports WRCB.

The Taliban are reportedly gaining momentum in several key locations and American Special Forces have been called in to ensure that the terror organization loses its stronghold.
