Sen. Barbara Boxer Describes Physical Pain in Reaction to Hillary’s Loss

Overreact much?

Democratic stalwart and longtime California Sen. Barbara Boxer was quite literally devastated by Hillary Clinton’s loss in November.

It was during Wednesday’s All Things Considered on National Public Radio when the senator admitted that watching the object of her loyal affection lose to Donald Trump was “painful” and “hurtful” to the point where she had a tough time getting up from the floor.

“Oh, it was painful, hurtful. I even had, like, a physical reaction to it. I could barely pick myself up off the floor,” Boxer said.

She also said she has difficulty even saying the words President Trump and added that the Electoral College system is “unfair."

Boxer has a history of opposition to the college. Back in 2004, it was known as “Boxer’s Rebellion.” She lodged an objection to Ohio’s electoral votes in an effort to stop the re-election of George W. Bush. It didn’t work, obviously, but her public tantrum stalled Bush’s confirmation for four hours. It’s something she says she regretted not doing in 2000 when she would’ve had a better opportunity to challenge his election.

Sore losers abound on the Left.
