Rupert Murdoch, international businessman and news mogul, sent a tweet on Wednesday about Ben Carson and suggested that Barack Obama isn't a "real black president."

Ben and Candy Carson terrific. What about a real black President who can properly address the racial divide? And much else.

Writes NBC News, "Murdoch's tweet praised Carson, the only African-American running in the 2016 race, and his wife, Candy, as "terrific," shortly after promoting the nominee's appearance on 'The Kelly File' on his Fox News Channel."

The tweet caused some controversy on Twitter, in particular Harry Shearer, star of "The Simpson's" took issue with Murdoch's opinion.
