Despite the $30 million donation given to George Mason University to further legal education and to name its law school after the late conservative Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, the radical professors at GMU vehemently oppose the idea because they feel Scalia was a polarizing figure and too often "enacted direct harms to many in our student body, especially students of color, women, and LGBT students."

But what about these professors at the publicly funded Virginia university? What about their beliefs? Are their views any less "polarizing" than Scalia's? Thankfully, PJ Media took a look at several of them and exposed their radical ideologies. 

Virginia's tax dollars are funding some rather polarizing professors, as it turns out. Here are a couple:

Gee, you'd never guess from looking at them that they are social justice warrior (SJW) academics.

The leader of the Scalia opposition, Craig Willse, is an adviser for GMU's Students Against Israeli Apartheid. His bio states that his scholarship “is informed by his political work outside the academy,” which has included “community organizing around housing access, social movements for trans justice and prison abolition, and queer anarchist anti-war activism.” If you're unclear on how queer anarchist anti-war activism differs from run-of-the-mill anti-war activism, you'll have to take his class, because we couldn't tell you.

Dr. Rebecca Walter is a diversity officer whose scholarly interests include "whiteness, critical race theory, and queer and feminist theories." We're guessing that her concept of diversity includes whiteness only reluctantly. She also believes capitalism is not "in crisis" but "is the crisis."

There is even a humanities professor, Roger Lancaster, who believes sex-offender registries are unfair and "stoke unnecessary parental anxieties." He wants predators treated more justly and doesn't care if they live near children:

These are just a few of the SJW academics profiled at PJ Media who are in positions of influence to use identity politics to shame anyone on the Right. They are are self-described atheists and socialists who see their academic mission as activism more than education. 

It's a worldview where everyone else is polarizing except for them. If they were truly for diversity, they would have no problem with a conservative name attached to one branch of the school. But their tolerance stops at their classroom door. Any idea that doesn't conform to what's inside is suppressed and mocked. And as PJ Media notes, the names they looked into on the petition against Scalia only "scratches the surface."

In its assessment, the controversy shouldn't be over the renaming of the law school, it should be one simple question:

Why are Virginians paying these radicals to indoctrinate generations of graduates?
