Progress: Hollywood Marriage Sees Husband Take Wife's Last Name

"I don't give a sheet."

Zoë Saldana, Hollywood actress and star of Guardians of the Galaxy, wed artist Marco Perego in 2013. And in an upcoming InStyle magazine feature, the star reveals that her husband made the "progressive decision" to take her last name.

From the article:

"I tried to talk him out of it," she tells InStyle. "I told him, 'If you use my last name, you're going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world.' But Marco looks up at me and says [she puts on a cute Italian accent], 'Ah, Zoë, I don't give a sheet.'"

As news leaked of the couple's decision before the magazine's release, Soldana used Facebook to call all men to "think outside the box" and "redefine masculinity."

Fathers, sons, brothers, men everywhere: Your legacy will not perish if you take your partner's surname, or she keeps...
