Poll: Elizabeth Warren Not-So-Popular

May not win re-election.

A new WBUR poll released on Monday shows that leftist superstar Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) may not be as popular as assumed in her home state -- unpopular enough to put her re-election in 2018 at risk. Here's hoping!

According to the poll, only 44 percent of Massachusetts voters believed that Warren should be re-elected in 2018 while 46 percent said someone else should take her spot.

"Millennials were the group least supportive of Warren, despite being the most progressive," reports Red Alert. "Only 30 percent of young voters felt that the Senator should be re-elected in 2018."

Surprisingly, Warren found her strongest support among senior citizens at 51 percent. Her support among independents came to nearly half.

A third of Democrats also didn't support Warren for re-election.

Come primary season, Warren will likely be unopposed in the primary (the national left loves her, after all), but she may very well be beaten in the actual election by several Republicans including State Reps. Geoff Diehl and Daniel Winslow, as well as former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling.

Part of the reason for Warren's low approval may be her hard-left stances on every issue, a sentiment that took a major hit in the 2016 election.

It also doesn't help her that she has not condemned pop singer Madonna's rhetoric about "blowing up the White House" during the Women's March last weekend.
