Piers Morgan to Hannity: There is a Frenzied Attempt to Destroy Trump Presidency

"I don't think it's a patriotic thing they're doing. I think it's nakedly partisan."

At TruthRevolt we're a little disconcerted to find ourselves so frequently cheering on Piers Morgan, but he's earning our support recently with attacks on political correctness and his defense of Donald Trump's presidency in the face of what he refers to as the media's crazy hyperbole about The Donald.

Morgan, from the UK Daily Mail, appeared on Fox News Wednesday night, telling Sean Hannity that the media in America have lost all perspective on President Trump and are fueling a "crazy hysteria" about him. There is now "an absolutely frenzied and concerted attempt to delegitimize, sabotage, and destroy the Trump presidency before it's even started," Morgan asserted.

"I think that is un-American. I don't think it's a patriotic thing they're doing. I think it's nakedly partisan. It's driven by The New York Times which was completely in the tank for Hillary Clinton."

He went on to say that the media need to ask themselves about their coverage of Trump, "Is this legitimate journalistic rigor, or is it incredibly partisan, often nakedly abusive treatment of a new President?"

He singled out the New York Times as a “very partisan paper masquerading as a paper of record.”

Thanks for telling it like it is, Piers, but actually, the Times, and the left-leaning media in general who now see themselves as activists rather than journalists, aren't even masquerading anymore.

Check out the first half of the video above, which features Piers handing down a brutal "indictment," as Hannity puts it, of the news media.
