Oops! Salon Writer Tweets Left’s Racist Views on Illegal Immigrants

Rarely has a 140-character message contained so much truth.

The "Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals" is a piece of President Barack Obama’s immigration legacy. Because of it, according to Politico, "more than 740,000 young undocumented immigrants have obtained temporary work permits and avoided the threat of deportation through the program, which Obama enacted without Congress." When President Obama met with President Trump in the Oval Office, Obama told Trump to "protect the dreamers." (Must've been rhetorically persuasive, because Trump complied.)

Well, what do you suppose these illegal immigrants are dreaming of?

The American Dream is one in which people from humble backgrounds can achieve greatness through hard work and determination. But liberals apparently don't want that for immigrants. Liberals love immigrants because they serve them.

Case in point: Salon’s Mary Beth Williams tweeted this out, accidentally revealing the Left's actual views of these immigrants:

Gosh, it's almost like that could be inscribed at the foot of the Statue of Liberty. As Instapundit's Ed Driscoll points out:

You stay classy, Democrats.

Not surprisingly, Salon’s Mary Beth Williams whose Twitter profile claims she lives in “Upstate Manhattan” (but of course) is getting plenty of pushback from the right on Twitter, including, “Yesterday, I was a toothless, uneducated hillbilly Trump supporter. Today, I have a limo driver! America, what a country!”, and “I particularly like how you threw in a ‘we’re’ as if you weren’t being racist.”

Twitter, of course, didn't let Williams get away with it:
