It seems President Obama wasn't the only one inspired by Ahmed Mohamed's "homemade clock" (bomb). Al Qaeda was, too.
Remember this?
Well, the "Clock Boy" made it into the Islamic terror organization's Inspire magazine. PJ Media published what it said:
The new al-Qaeda issue featured a picture of the two meeting as well as the clock bomb, with the notation: "Obama, 'because of his sensitivity towards Muslim discrimination,' sees an opp to further his PR by acknowledging a brilliant 14 yr old Muslim boy (who in fact even inspired us in a way)."
And using that inspiration, the issue details how to build several types of bombs: a parcel bomb, a magnetic car bomb, and a door-trap bomb.
As an added bonus, there are several threats listed in the issue as well. "Confirmed" is written with the dates for Memorial Day and Independence Day. Next to it is a picture of a pipe bomb and Syed Rizwan Farook, one of the San Bernardino terrorists.
Another veiled threat could be referring to election day, as PJM pointed out. A checklist reads: "Hidden bomb, car bomb, pressure cooker, assassinations, make your vote count."
Here's a screenshot from the magazine:
Let's hope the Mohamed family is proud. We know Obama is.
