New Carson Ad 'These Hands' Aims for Unity

A "return to 'We the People.'"

Even though Ben Carson is experiencing a hard drop in the polls, his team is hoping a new 60-second ad could, as his campaign slogan states, "heal, inspire, revive" support for his presidential bid.

The ad is titled "These Hands" and features folks from all ages and races with the two-word phrase printed on their palms. As they stand in front of familiar American settings, the non-speaking ad lists their individual accomplishments and occupations, accompanied by an inspirational soundtrack.

Released Tuesday, the video description at YouTube states:

This great nation was built by #TheseHands. Watch this video, then create your own profile pic: https://www.bencarson.com/thesehands. Tell us how your hands have impacted America today. Help us return America to 'We the People.'

It's a fantastic ad, but its positive message may not be loud enough to rise above the current political noise.

It was just this time last month that Carson was neck-and-neck with Republican front-runner Donald Trump. But as of now, he has dropped in the polls from nearly 25% down to just under 14%. Trump retains the lead at 29.3%, according to RealClear Politics.
