Nancy Pelosi Attacks Press, Reporters Don't Mention It

If you ever think the media really care about liberty, just watch their double standards.

Recently, Nancy Pelosi spoke about President Trump's first 40 days in office, and said his only accomplishment is scaring everyone:

Then, in a move that some might call a "scare tactic," the House minority leader said that the press helped undermine the 2016 Presidential election by not reporting on Russian involvement. She told CNN's Jake Tapper:

"I do think, with all due respect in the world for the press, that the press could have done a better job [highlighting Russia's alleged meddling in the election]."

You can watch the exchange below:

The press, which have been incredibly touchy about 1st Amendment issues for the first time in eight years, were "strangely silent," as T. Beckett Adams wrote of this very serious accusation. He continued:

It looks like President Trump and Pelosi have something in common: They both think the press is bad at its job, and that it has done great harm.

There have been a handful of reports noting the seriousness of the congresswoman's charge, but there has been no great outcry from national media in response to being accused of acting as Russia's accomplice.

There have been no reporter hashtag campaigns, no brave editorials denouncing Pelosi's attacks on the press and there have been no demands for an apology.

The fact of the matter is that the media yawn at liberal infractions, while magnifying and exaggerating conservative ones. Pelosi is not the media's enemy because they're fighting for leftist causes.... not for the truth.
